Terms and conditions.
MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
❖ The minimum booking for PEAK season weddings on Friday’s, Saturday’s & Sundays between May – Sept & Dec is £330 (Bride & 2)
❖ Bookings that don’t reach the minimum will be charged at the equivalent minimum cost.
❖ A surcharge of £50 will apply for all Bank holiday bookings
SECURING YOUR WEDDING BOOKING
❖ For any Wedding bookings the booking of the weddings date is only reserved once the client has paid a £50 non-refundable booking fee.
❖This booking fee is due within 72 hours of invoice being sent and secures your trial and holds your wedding date. The booking fee is then deducted from your wedding day invoice.
❖ Should a Trial not be taking place, then 50% of the overall event day cost will be required to secure the wedding date at the time of confirming the booking.
❖ Your quote is valid for 5 days from the date of sending, please note that I reserve the right to increase pricing , due to inflation, increased costs etc.
❖ Dates are given on a first come first serve basis. If another inquiry is received for your specified date prior to your trial taking place a 48 hour issue will be sent via email giving you the first option to secure your booking.
❖ For large bookings a second artist / assistant maybe required and this will be advised to you at the time of your booking. The artist will be chosen and secured by Belle and an administration charge of £100 will be added to your invoice for this service which covers time, administration, issuing of contracts to the Artist and invoicing. The artist will charge the same rate as Belle for their makeup/hair services and so will already be quoted for at the time of receiving your quotation.
PAYMENT
❖ Payments must be made via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.
❖ Final & remaining balances set out on your invoice is due 1 calendar month prior to your wedding date.
❖ Failure to make payments within the agreed time frame, may result in the cancellation of your booking.
OTHER EVENT BOOKINGS (1:2:1 lessons / Proms etc)
❖The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the overall event cost.
❖ In the case of event makeup bookings where a trial is being held, the trial cost will be required as the booking fee. The event date will be held up to 72 hours following completion of the trial at which stage a 50% deposit of the prom/event day cost is required to secure the event.
TRAVEL
❖ All road travel to and from wedding is charged at 0.50p per mile from Belle’s base location (BN15) Previews take place at Belle’s or if required can be conducted at yours but travel fees and a travel/pack up fee may apply.
❖ Congestion, toll and parking charges may apply and will be quoted accordingly or where necessary paid in cash on the day.
❖ Weddings that exceed 75 miles or / are over 2 hours distance or have a particularly early start time may require overnight accommodation and/or may be subject to additional hourly rates which will be advised to you in writing.
❖ For Destination weddings/events. Ground Travel in the UK and in country of destination will be required as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the wedding/event (and if necessary after). A day rate of £200 will also be charged in lieu of time spent travelling.
SKIN ALLERGY/CONDITIONS
❖ It is the client’s responsibility to inform Belle Denbury before the booked date of any sensitivities/allergies or conditions that may affect any member of the booked party receiving makeup application. Belle Denbury cannot be held liable for failure to inform prior to makeup application.
❖ Belle Denbury can refuse the application of makeup if any contagious skin, scalp or eye conditions are present.
TIME DELAYS
❖ Belle Denbury cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by events beyond their control (weather, flight cancellations etc)
CLIENT CANCELLATION / AMENDMENTS
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking completely:
❖ Any cancellation made within 24 hours of the booking FULL payment will still be required. This can be reconsidered under certain circumstances.
The following client cancellation terms only apply to Bridal bookings and large group bookings
❖ For Client cancellations that take place:
o 14 days within your booking date – 100% of your balance is due.
o 15-28 days within your booking date – 75% of your balance is due
o 28 + days notice – no charge
For Client cancellations please note that your deposit is non-refundable.
❖ If you wish to postpone your wedding/event date then all deposit/balance will be rolled over to a new date, In the event that I am not available on your new date your deposit may be refunded minus any an administration cost (to be advised in writing)
❖ The client is required to give a minimum of 4 weeks ( 1 months) notice to Belle Denbury of any changes (more or less) in the number of people having the makeup service for a booked party. If you have anyone in the booked party who changes their mind and decides not to go ahead within 4 weeks / 1 month of the booked date the total price will not change. Please ensure that anyone booked in for makeup as part of your bridal party are 100% confirmed to avoid any disappointment.
HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST CANCELLATION
❖ In a very rare circumstance and only in serious cases of illness or immediate family emergencies will your makeup artist cancel their confirmed booking with you.
❖ In such circumstances all efforts will be made to find a replacement makeup artist with details, products and photos of the makeup look you are after.
❖ If no replacement is found, all made payments will be refunded to you.
❖ Belle Denbury has right to refuse the makeup service to clients if any abusing threatening behaviour (in any way) is felt during the booking. Any cancellation due to this reason will not enable any refunds and full payment from the client will still be out-standing.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
❖ Please ensure that a suitable setup table and chairs are provided to your artist with consideration to space and natural light (ideally by a window)
❖ It is the responsibility of the client to make themselves familiar with, understand and accept responsibility for all booking terms & conditions.
INSURANCE
❖ Belle Denbury is fully insured by Salon Gold and has full public liability insurance to protect both herself and the client.
❖ It is highly recommended that couples have full wedding insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances out of either yours or the control of Belle Denbury

❖ To increase Belle Denbury’s portfolio & social media profiles please let me know if you do not want to be photographed or you are not happy for me to use your images for marketing purposes. Photo-credits will of course be given to your photographer.
